Infusion/Injection Services
Infusion/Injection services are offered in the Ambulatory Care Center in a comfortable outpatient setting including private rooms for patients. The department is staffed by Registered Nurses trained in infusion therapy, familiar with the most up to date treatments and symptom management. Services Included:
- Intravenous (IV) infusions
- Intravenous (IV) ush medications
- Intramuscular (IM) injections
- Subcutaneous (Sub-Q/SQ) injections
- Transfusion of Blood Products
Infusion treatment can take one or more hours depending on the prescribed therapy.
Availability of Services:
- 7 days a week by appointment
- Peripheral Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) insertion available Monday-Friday by appointment
