Melissa Hendricks is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her master's degree from the Indiana University School of Social Work. She employs various therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness strategies. Melissa brings hope, energy, and enthusiasm to her work with children, families, and adults. For over 25 years, she has provided therapy in a variety of settings, encompassing individual, family, and group counseling. Her expertise spans a multitude of clinical areas, including the treatment of anxiety/panic disorders, abuse/trauma/PTSD, depression, women’s issues, as well as grief and loss. Additionally, Melissa collaborates with parents to bring about a positive transformation in family dynamics. Currently, at MHP, Melissa serves clients ranging in age from 5 to senior adults, addressing a broad spectrum of behavioral health needs. She is dedicated to aiding her clients in their journeys to heal, grow, and thrive.
