We had an amazing time celebrating MHP’s 100 Year Anniversary in June, and July is shaping up to be just as exciting with some big changes and new faces joining our team.
First off, MHP Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery gained a new face and a new name! We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Carlos Vieira, a fellowship trained breast surgeon and board-certified general surgeon, to our team. Dr. Vieira is passionate about women's health and fighting breast cancer, and he's teaming up with Dr. Cristea, our board-certified plastic surgeon, to provide outstanding care. To reflect our expanded focus on breast health, we also changed our name from MHP Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery to MHP Plastic & Breast Surgery. You can find more information about our services at myMHP.org/plastics.
Next, let’s talk about the opening of our new practice: MHP Urogynecology! Led by Dr. Christa Lewis, a fellowship-trained urogynecologist and board-certified OB/GYN, this new practice specializes in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Lewis brings expertise in treating conditions like pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and painful bladder syndrome. Urogynecology focuses on the muscles, ligaments, and nerves that support pelvic organs like the bladder, uterus, vagina, and rectum. We’re excited about what’s coming up in August too, so stay tuned for more updates and announcements!
