The MHP Foundation has several giving groups for our donors. Two of these, the MHP Giving Tree and the Royal Oak Society, have exciting new updates this month. To learn more about our other giving groups, visit our website at mymhp.org/foundation/ways-to-give/giving-clubs
MHP Giving Tree
The MHP Giving Tree is our group of employee donors at MHP. They have donated over $100,000 each year since 2016 - including this year! Members' donations help with facility improvements, patient support, education, and/or employee relief. Our newest fund, the employee project fund, gives departments the opportunity to answer, "What can the MHP Foundation do to help you do your job better for patients?". Managers send internal grant applications to us based on their needs, ideas, and goals.
As always, they submitted amazing ideas for 2021.
We are proud to present the ten projects for this year:
- Cardiology: Blood Pressure Cuff program - $1,000 – 50-60 patient impact
- Nephrology: Blood Pressure Cuff program - $1,500 – 40 patient impact
- Coag Clinic: Medical ID Cards & Bracelets - $100 – 400+ patient impact
- Diabetes Education: Medical ID Bracelets - $100 – 400+ patient impact
- Clinical Nutrition: Calorie King Resource books - $350 – 50 patient impact
- Diabetes Clinic: Glucose tablets - $200 – 100+ patient impact
- Cardiology: Heart & Vascular Screenings - $1,200 – 100+ patient impact
- Cardiopulmonary: Smoking Cessation Aids - $5,000

- Cardiology: Bariatric Scales - $2,500 – 50 patient impact
We would like to sincerely thank each and every department for your drive to provide "the Major difference" to our patients. Each project, big or small, will truly impact healthcare in our community - even potentially saving lives! #TogetherWeAre making great strides!
Royal Oak Society
The Royal Oak Society recognizes individuals who make a minimum pledge of $10,000 over a maximum of 10 years. This giving club began in 2012, and our founding members are now completing their incredibly generous pledges. To commemorate a new pledge era for this giving group, the MHP Foundation welcomed committee members to guide our renewal efforts: Kate Garringer (Chair), Jody Butts, Audra Caldwell, Beth Case, Eric Glasco, Andrea Goldyn, and Chris King.
There are over 100 members in the Royal Oak Society currently, and they have donated over $750,000 since the giving group's start. Our committee hopes to welcome 27 new members in the upcoming months. If you would like to join the Royal Oak Society, feel free to return the pledge card below. Always feel free to contact us for more information about this giving group or any others.
