UPDATES FROM INCIDENT COMMAND:

  • Point of Care Covid testing supplies: There are on allocation from our vendor. At our current burn rate, we are going to run out soon.
  • Nursing Homes: Our local nursing homes are doing much better. Only two patients remain in isolation.
  • “Bam” monoclonal drug for Covid treatment. By today’s end, we will have infused 20 patients with this experimental Eli Lilly drug. We have an adequate supply of this drug. All patients thus far have tolerated it well without any interactions and are showing improvement. The drug is designed to reduce and stop the viral load in mild to moderately ill patients who are at high risk or have underlying health conditions. The cost of the drug is free to the patient. The only charge to the patient is for the saline used and the infusion charge. Most insurances are providing coverage.

MHP TESTING STATUS:

  • Number of NEW positive results: 71 new positive cases since 11/23/2020
    • Out of the 71 new positive cases, 6 patients required inpatient care and 65 remained outpatient.

MHP INPATIENT STATUS:

  • Current number of 3rd floor inpatients: 36 and 9 of those patients are in the Critical Care Unit (CCU)
    • Number of available 3rd floor beds: 4
  • Currently, we have 21 inpatients that tested positive
  • Number of patients in the 1st floor ACC unit: 7 with 15 beds available and none of these are patients that have positive or suspected COVID.

MHP EMERGENCY DEPT STATUS:

  • Number of total ER patients in last 24 hours: 72 patients

VENT STATUS:

  • Number of vents currently in use and number of vents available:
    • We have 5 ventilators in use and 5 BiPAP in use, 0 trilogy units are in use. This leaves us with 12 ventilation units available.
