- Bamlanivimab "Bam” monoclonal drug for Covid treatment. By the end of the day, we will have infused 170 patients with this Eli Lilly monoclonal drug. We have a 3.5% admission rate for patients who have received “bam”, which remains well below the admission rate for patients that did not receive the drug. Eli Lilly’s CEO was on Sunday’s Face the Nation television program touting the drug and the effectiveness and encouraging hospitals to continue using it.
