UPDATES FROM INCIDENT COMMAND:
- COVID Vaccine: Patient-facing MHP staff are now signing up and scheduled to receive their Covid vaccine this week and over the weekend. Over 70% of our staff have indicated they intend to receive the vaccine when it is available to them and we expect that number to grow over the next few weeks.
- Bamlanivimab "Bam” monoclonal drug for Covid treatment. By the end of the day, we will have infused 147 patients with this Eli Lilly monoclonal drug. Since our previous update, we have not had any patients experience more than a mild reaction. We have approximately 150 vials remaining.
- In-house Rapid Covid tests: We are in the final stages of validation of our in-house rapid Covid tests. We should be up and running any day now and will begin using these in the acute care arena first. As long as supplies are available, our plan is to expand this to other areas on the hospital in the future.
