Urogynecology is a branch of medicine that deals with gynecology and obstetrics that involves female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. The pelvic floor is a specific portion of your body that includes your bladder, reproductive system, and rectum. Urogynecologists are physicians who not only diagnose, but also treat a variety of pelvic floor conditions including: 

• pelvic organ prolapse
• urinary incontinence/leaky bladder
• fecal incontinence
• painful bladder syndrome
• repeat urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Our urogynecologist, Dr. Christa Lewis, is a fellowship trained Urogynecologist and Board-certified OB/GYN with MHP OB/GYN. She specializes in pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and painful bladder syndrome.
